Asst. Professor Ziad Bin Abdul Awal, Chairman of the Department of Space Systems Engineering at Aviation and Aerospace University Bangladesh (AAUB) was formally invited to serve as a resource person in a recently conducted internal training program at Bangladesh Space Research and Remote Sensing Organization (SPARRSO) at its headquarters in Agargaon, Dhaka. Held from May 10 to May 12, 2026, this initiative was implemented as a part of the “Strengthening SPARRSO” project, with the primary objective of enhancing the technical expertise, practical knowledge, and professional capacity of its engineers and personnel in satellite systems and related aerospace disciplines.

During the session, Asst. Professor Ziad delivered a series of lectures covering a broad spectrum of fundamental and applied aerospace topics providing participants with essential knowledge of aviation and aerospace sciences, insights into space systems engineering principles, mission planning methodologies, and the significance of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and planetary rovers in contemporary space exploration and operations. This cooperative collaboration exemplifies Aviation and Aerospace University Bangladesh's commitment and dedication towards developing a highly skilled and technically proficient aviation and aerospace-oriented workforce nationwide through specialized capacity-building activities through professionals such as Asst. Professor Ziad and impart valuable expertise.
