Accident Investigation LAB

The Accident Investigation Lab at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Aviation and Aerospace University (BSMRAAU), established in December 2021 at Dhaka Campus, is designed to provide advanced training and research opportunities in aircraft accident investigation and safety. It is equipped with a wide range of specialized tools especially the Optical Microscope with an ultrasonic flow detector, which serves as a key instrument for analyzing material fractures, detecting hidden flaws, and understanding the causes of aircraft component failures. By bridging theoretical knowledge with practical application, this lab ensures that students are well-prepared to investigate accidents and contribute to improving global aviation safety standards with the help of aircraft safety and investigation related equipments available in the lab.
